Closely linked with the release of the Orchestre National des Pays de la Loire/ P.Rophé’s first collaboration for BIS RECORDS on rare scores from Henri Dutilleux, the famous British magazine dedicated a complete 3 pages report/file/article about the 100th anniversary of the French composer (1916-2013). 

Gavin Dixon from Gramophone was in Nantes during the recording sessions conducted by Pascal Rophé (Music Director). He wrote : “Pascal Rophé and the ONPL are an ideal team for Dutilleux.  Rophé conducts a broad repertoire but is particulary know for his advocacy of modern French music”

On the same issue, Gramophone publishes a very positive review of this new Dutilleux recording penned by Philip Clarck “Pascal Rophé and his Orchestre National des Pays de la Loire take these scores at face value, carving through notes with flamboyant cliffhanger urgency”’
