Innovative discography of Liège Royal Philharmonic

Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of Liège is exploring new interesting ideas to enrich its discography. The orchestra together with Bis label and chief conductor John Neschling, release the volume of total symphonic pieces of Respighi. This new CD is dedicated to the monumental Sinfonia Drammatica and the flaming prelude to the opera Belfagor. The OPRL is absolutely at the right place dealing with these colourful and powerful symphonies. This recording will be an important reference in the limited offer of general discography.

Liège Royal Philharmonic Orchestra regularly enrich the catalogue of label Musique en Wallonie, especially the collection of 14-18 dedicated to pieces composed during the big war. The OPRL presented a CD of Poems for violin recorded with the conductor Jean-Jacques Kantorow, Eugène Ysaÿe’s orchestra and violinists Amaury Coeytaux and Svetlin Roussef (students of Jean-Jacques Kantorow). The orchestra doesn’t need to prove us more since it excels in this repertoire since the very beginning.

Those are two new beautiful discographic releases that showed originality and vividness!
