Le Petit Prince#Beintus

The Concert Suite on The Little Prince after Antoine de Saint-Exupéry by Jean-Pascal Beintus (Grammy Award) is a musical and sensory journey through this literary masterpiece.

Two solo instruments, violin and harp, symbolise the journey of initiation and the various personal encounters of the lonely child who travels from planet to planet in search of answers to his questions. Like the famous original pastel drawings of Saint-Exupéry, this duo faithfully represents the nature of the different characters (Flower, Fox, Businessman, Snake etc) in clear and refined dialogues with the chamber orchestra.

Violinist Alexandra Conunova, winner of the Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow and the Joachim Competition (Hanover), and harpist Bryn Lewis are accompanied by theLondon Symphony Orchestra under French conductor Quentin Hindley. The album was recorded for 21 Music, the digital label, in the mythical Abbey Road Studio 2.

It is the second 21 Music album devoted to the music of Jean-Pascal Beintus, following his score for the Michel Cymes documentary Hippocrates in the Underworld, performed by the Renaud Capuçon Quartet, Paul Meyer and Jérôme Ducros.

This album is available from now on streaming or downloading on : Deezer, Spotify, Itunes, Apple music, Amazon, Qobuz, Tidal, KKBox, Anghami, Yandex, Tencent QQ, Awa, etc
