The Orchestre d’Auvergne is the first in France to launch its own digital label, 100% digital label, available on all digital download and streaming platforms around the world. While embracing this increasingly popular way of enjoying music, the orchestra seeks to develop and build on its long history of recordings for CD and other media.

The Orchestre d’Auvergne will offer in 2019 a selection of recordings of concerts recorded live at the Opera-Theatre in Clermont-Ferrand, or on tour, under the direction of Roberto Forés Veses, its musical director, with soloists such as Sergey Krylov, Robert Levin or Thomas Zehetmair. Music lovers can relive the emotion of the concert or discover these live performances.

The first release will be Beethoven 7th symphony Opus 92, recorded at Clermont-Ferrand Opera-Theatre on October 4 2018, with precisely the same sized orchestra that Beethoven would have used.
