“Trained at the Paris Conservatoire, Romain Leleu is regarded as one of the best

performers of his generation. He has received an “instrumental soloist revelation” award from the French Victoires de la Musique (the French Grammy Awards) and has performed as a soloist on five continents.
With his innovative projects, notably with his Ensemble Convergences for trumpet and string quintet, Romain Leleu has revolutionized the practice of his instrument.
His recent engagements have included concerts with the Orchestre National de France, the Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse, at the “Folle Journée” Festivals in Nantes and in Japan.
